ViewDate:2025-04-28 08:42:34
Guacamole is commonly used as a spread or a dip for chips, but Poppi is introducing a new way to enjoy the avocado-based dish.
The prebiotic soda company is teaming up with marketer Avocados from Mexico (AFM) to launch a guacamole and soda mashup called "Pop-Guac."
"This creative pairing combines delicious, creamy avocados with a flavorful twist in every bite, delighting fans with an astonishing mouthfeel and vibrant flavor profile," according to an AFM news release.
The summer recipe comes ahead of National Avocado Day on July 31.
"Avocados From Mexico are always good – they taste delicious, and a bowl of fresh guacamole sparks good times whenever it’s around," AFM President and CEO Alvaro Luque said in the release. “We’re excited to bring more good times to avocado fans by teaming up with poppi. Innovation is at the heart of our brand, and Pop-Guac shows avocado fans a new way to enjoy the great taste of guacamole on one of our favorite occasions, National Avocado Day.”
What ingredients do you need to make 'Pop-Guac?'
According to AFM's website, making "Pop-Guac" requires:
- Three to four avocados from Mexico
- A 4-fluid-ounce can of Ginger Lime Poppi
- Two teaspoons of salt
- One-fourth cup of finely chopped white onion
- One-half cup of finely chopped cilantro
How do you make 'Pop-Guac?'

- Remove the stem from the avocados.
- Cut the avocados in half from top to bottom.
- Twist one-half of the avocados to pull two halves apart.
